Herbert David Berry Sr.

Herbert David Berry Sr., 76 of Chattanooga passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday, June 11, 2026. Dave loved his family and the outdoors, fishing, camping, visiting state parks with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed playing cards and ping pong. Dave worked at Siskin Steel and Supply for 46 years.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Janet Miller Berry and brother Robert Berry.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 56 years, Barbara Berry; children Angel (Rex) Wilson and David (Mechele) Berry; Brothers Ronald (Sylvia) Berry and Jimmy Berry; Sister Sharon (Kenneth) Berry and sister-in-law Glenie Berry; Grandchildren Collin (Ashley) Wilson, Lily (Gavin) Miller, Kenadi ( Garrett) Moore, Dakota (Brittany) Nichols, Kyle Berry and Ryan Berry; Great grandchildren Emberly Nichols and Ellie Nichols.

Dave was a Husband, Father, grandfather and friend to many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be from 4-8:00 pm e.s.t, Monday, June 15. The graveside service will be held at noon, Tuesday, June 16 at Lakewood- West Memory Gardens 3509 Cummings Road Chattanooga, TN. 37419.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude in memory of Dave.
