Jean Woody

Jean Elizabeth Woody age 83 of the Lookout Valley Community passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022. She was a Beta Club member and graduated from Rossville High School in 1956. Jean retired from the State of TN Information Resource Specialist after over forty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulan & Eva Mae Dorsey.

Those left to treasure her memories are her husband, Glenn Woody, Sr. of Lookout Valley; children, Glenda (Mike) Tate & Harley (Dale) Woody both of Lookout Valley; siblings, Evelyn (Cleveland) Rogers of Flintstone, Ga & Bill (Regina) Dorsey of Chickamauga, Ga.; grandchildren, Jay (Beth) Eller, Crissy (James) Emmett, Crystal (Justin) Tipton & Cristen (Lewis) Gillman; great grandchildren, Colton Emmett, Olivia Eller, Briley Tipton, Kendal Emmett, Abby Eller, Connor Emmett, Weston Townson & Braxton Tipton. Jean was an avid TN Vols Fan.

Family with receive friends 1PM-8PM, EST, Monday, June 6, 2022 & 10AM-1PM, EST, Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Funeral Service 1PM, EST, Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the Chattanooga Memorial Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Garrett Ragan & Brother Buddy Woody officiating. Interment to follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens West in Lookout Valley.
