Sharon LaVerne (Wright) Enter

Sharon Wright Enter age 76 went to be with her Lord on April 11, 2026. She graduated from Central High School in 1968 and went to school to be an X-RAY technician at Erlanger and was employed as an X-RAY technician for many years at Erlanger Hospital and Galen Medical Group. She lived in Lookout Valley until marrying the love of her life, Ed Enter. She and Ed made their home in East Ridge where she lived until her health declined.

Sharon didn’t have children of her own but had a beloved dog, Conner, for 17 years. Sharon also enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. They were really a delight to her, and she treated them as if they were her own kids.

Sharon was a member of Griffin Holiness Church where she and her husband Ed spent countless hours with the Children’s Christmas Program and other church activities.

She loved sewing, knitting and reading. She used her sewing skills to make costumes etc. for her nieces and nephews’ different programs and activities. She knitted hundreds of scarves and donated them to Veterans, The Salvation Army and other people in need. She also enjoyed knitting different things to put a smile on patients’ faces at the nursing home.

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband; Ed Enter, her father J.D. Wright and her Grandparents Mamie Crane Pell, Billy Pell, Joseph Ira and Maggie Creswell Wright.

Those left to cherish her memories are her mother, Margie Christine “Tina” Wright; Sister, Deborah K Wright; Brother, Jerome (Beverly) Wright: Niece, Rebecca (Jerry) McDowell; Nephews, Dustin (Stacey) Wright and Casey (Jessica) Wright. Her great nieces Bailey Wright, Lanie & Lillee Ballard, Alley & Alice Wright, Jaylee (Rodrigo) Jimenez and her great nephews; Lucas, Jackson & Gunner Wright, Joseph McDowell, Andy & Arlis Robinson. Sharon also leaves extended family and many special friends.

A special thank you to the good staff at NHC Nursing home for the care they provided for Sharon in her final years, her roommate Ruth and cousin Diane Long.
